“The Mender of the Hearts Concert Project”
Hear it, Feel it, Help to Heal it with “The Mender of the Heart”
Brian Henly is the director, founder, and producer of “The Mender of the Heart” concert/recognition ceremony project. Five compositions, the “The Mender of the Heart” and “We Live on Love” from his CD entitled Compassion and three new compositions, “Forever More, Messiah and Mother Land” will be performed, fully scored, with a complete orchestra, played by individuals that face health impairments. We would also like to award individuals and companies that have made a moral, humanitarian, and or financial contribution to the advancement and solution of chronic and debilitating diseases.
The mission and goal of this project are to bring worldwide awareness of talented and musically gifted children and adults who face health challenges as well as to help raise world consciousness of the needs of those with physical cares and concerns. The vision of this concert project is to show the participants that they are cared about, respected, and appreciated. We hope this venture will be sponsored by health organizations such as The American Cancer Society, The American Heart Association, or any other of the youth-focused hospitals.
The ceremony will acknowledge testimonies from children and youth who have successfully completed treatment and are now leading meaningful lives. Recognition will also be given to physicians who have had successful results with an experimental treatment that led to a positive healthy patient outcome. Technicians and nurses that give extra encouragement and care to the patients during their toughest moments will also receive a much-appreciated tribute. Those who have made financial donations that assisted patients with prosthetic devices, surgeries, medicines, travel arrangements, medical bills, and other medical needs will also be recognized at the event.
The value to the participating associations will be major nationwide advertisement and visibility through sponsorship focusing on the organization’s design and resources. In addition, a percentage of the sales from Lordson’s CD, “Compassion” and The MOTH promotional merchandise will assist in funding.
The projected launch date is ____________. The objective is to raise $500,000 for production and operating costs. The attractiveness of the “Mender” project is to bring awareness of the artistic, therapeutics, and other sensitive needs of people suffering from health disabilities. It is our mission to bring a sense of hope and purpose beyond their everyday struggles. Through music and performance, they will gain a sense of pride, self-worth, humility, and value to society.
The magnitude of this humanitarian project will emotionally move thousands of viewers and listeners as well as the artist themselves.
